Payments are due on the first of each month and payment deadline is 14 days later. The information on forms RSK 5.06 can be submitted electronically. Contact the Directorate of Internal Revenue (RSK) for information on data transfer. The form RSK 5.10 must always be sent immediately to the Directorate of Internal Revenue. Also send RSK 5.06 if applicable and the form is not electronically transferred to RSK. Detailed instructions on how to fill out these forms are on the backside of each form.

Collectors of Taxes
Iceland Revenue and Customs collects taxes and duties for the National Treasury in the administrative district of Reykjavík, which includes the city of Reykjavík, Hafnarfjörður, Garðabær, Kópavogur, Seltjarnarnesbær, Mosfellsbær and Kjósarhreppur.
The Directorate also supervises and guides the collection procedure elsewhere.
Outside the administrative district of Reykjavík, the District Commissioners handle the collection of taxes and duties.
