EORI numbers

The European Union introduced a new system - EORI- (Economic Operators Registration and Identification System). The system is designed to enhance the security of customs practices and is based on EU regulations no. 648/2005 and 187/2006.

Iceland is not a member of the European Union and therefore the Icelandic Customs Authorities do not issue EORI numbers. For further information please contact the relevant EU Customs Authorities.
